Polymer nanocomposites design and characterization. Aiging and Recycling of polymers. Reinforcement of polymers with nanoparticles of graphene, carbon nanotubes, nanoclays, noble metals and metal oxides. Rheological control on nanocomposite technology. Processing-structure-properties relationships. Interfacial and size phenomena. Structure and morphology at the nanoscale. Micro and nano-mechanical properties related to the materals structure. 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
