Integrated Water Resources Management:


  • Hydrology and soil water movement processes modeling aiming at evaluation of surface runoff and groundwater recharge of river basins using satellite obtained  digital data;
  • Assessment and management of the nitrogen pollution of  farming lands caused by the agriculture;
  • Field and laboratory work for detection of industrial and agricultural contamination of soils and surface waters.

Honors: I was a leader of the project “Assessment of nitrogen pollution on the air, soil and groundwater due to agriculture - case study in Bulgaria”. The outcomes of that research was awarded as one of the most significant results of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for 2011.
