40 Years Institute of Mechanics

The Institute of Mechanics celebrates its 40-th anniversary and 55 years since the beginning of the organized studies on mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The event will be marked by a solemn session at the Institute of Mechanics on November 7, 2017 in Room 510, floor 5 at 2 pm and will be dedicated to the past, present and future of the Institute.

PROGRAM

Opening of the solemn session and introductory speech by the Director of the Institute of Mechanics Prof. Vassil Kavardjikov.

Representatives of the von Karman Institute, Belgium, will be present at the opening.
