Research Fields
New master programme
The Program is realized by the Institute of Mechanics -BAS and the New Bulgarian University, Sofia. It is oriented towards training in biotechnology and its relation to the sustainable development of the society. The Program aims at training independent specialists for acting in a complex working environment. The education is based on the principles of the industrial biotechnology. It includes courses on biological, physical and technical foundation of the biotechnological applications, microbiological biotechnology, DNA-technology, bioreactors and bioprocess systems, as well as economics and management of biotechnological production.
