Laboratory Thermal Testing
Laboratory Thermal Testing:
Laboratory of differential thermal analysis
Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) is a thermal analysis technique in which the temperature difference ∆Т between a substance and a reference material is measured as a function of temperature, while the substance and reference material are subjected to the same controlled temperature influence. This methode is suitable to determinate: thermal behaviour of organic/inorganic materials (e.g. polymers, composites, glasses, metals, minerals, etc.), phase transitions (e.g. melting point, glass transition temperature, crystallization), chemical composition measurements, temperatures of decomposition.
