Education
Scientists from the Institute actively participate in the education of highly qualified specialists in theoretical and applied mechanics, biomechanics and mechatronics.
About 15 PhD students are educated annually. Courses are taught at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Technical University-Sofia, Plovdiv University "P.Hilendarski", Technical University-Varna etc. A number of scientists have also been invited as lecturers in France, Germany, Belgium and USA.
Training courses for post-diploma qualification of specialists in nondestrcutive testing of machines and facilities areorganized in IMech, in compliance with ISO 9712, ISO 20807, ISO 18436, EN 473 and EN 4179 standards.
Simulation models and educational software for detection and training of young talents in Bulgaria in the field of mathematics and mechanics are created.
The Institute has a project within the framework of the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" of the EU, providing support of the education of PhD students and young scientists in micro- and nano-mechanics.
