National Projects

1. 7IF-02-33/30.07.2014 "Creating a new approach and designing tools to improve and optimize the molding process during manufacturing of polymer packagings intended for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry (SuNI-Pharma)". Institute of Mechanics is a Partner in the research project funded by the National Innovation Fund at Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA), current.

The main objective of the project is to develop an innovative approach and designing tools for improving the molding process during manufacturing of polymer packagings.

The specific objectives are:

- To develop a new method, to construct, elaborate and experiment on a technological equipment a newly designed tool for improving quality of injection molding;

- To test the properties of polymer products for proving the affect of the improved molding;

- To deepen the partnership between the Institute of Mechanics - BAS and "Chimicheski

Produkti" Ltd. ("Chemical Products" Ltd.), Yambol in research and development to enhance

their innovative capacity.

Coordinator: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Margarita Natova
